Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
At Gig Keeper, we care about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when you use our concert diary service.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to add. When you log gigs, we store the band name, venue, date, photos, notes, and any other details you enter. We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used, such as page views and device type, to help us improve the app.
2. How we use your information
We use your data to provide and improve Gig Keeper: to save your gig history, show leaderboards, process payments for Pro subscriptions and donations, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how visitors use the site. If approved, Google AdSense may serve ads on content-rich pages. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google’s Ads Settings.
4. Payments
Donations and Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details; Stripe handles payment information securely according to its own privacy and security practices.
5. Data sharing
We only share data with trusted service providers needed to run Gig Keeper, such as our hosting backend, payment processor, and email delivery service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Your rights
You can access, edit, or delete your gigs and profile information at any time from within the app. If you want to delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove your personal data, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page. Continued use of Gig Keeper after changes means you accept the updated policy.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, email us at info.gig.diary@gmail.com or use our contact form.
